Welcome to the Spanish Cycling Holidays website.
The accommodation is located in the San Miguel region of Spain.
Murcia airport is 20mins.
Alicante Airport is 45mins.
The apartments comprise of 1 bedroom with fitted wardrobes, 1 bathroom, wc bath & shower, an open plan kitchen with a lounge.
In the bedroom there are two single beds, a single pull out bed ,suitable for a child, and a double sofa couch in the lounge.They can comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 children.
The apartments are fully equiped with self catering facilities, kitchen utensils, iron and ironing board, washing machine. All bed linin is supplied but we DO NOT supply towels.
There is satilite TV in every apartment.
The complex boasts the largest swimming pool in the area with a paddling pool for the children.
Beaches are 10 minutes drive from the apartments. The restaurants and bars are a 400 metres walk away.
San Miguel lies 30 miles south of Alicante airport and is the most southern resort in the province of Alicante.
The unique location of the accommodation means that
there is fantastic cycling to the south all on the flat with just a few undulating roads, and canalside rides.
To the north and west you hit the big climbs in the mountains which is well worth the effort as the views are stunning.
San Miguel is a small typical Spanish village which is 7k from the apartments and has a market on Wednesdays. Also within a few minutes drive there is horse riding stables and there are also go karts within 15 minutes from the apartments.
The climate is perfect for cycling.
Typical temperatures are:-
Febuary to March 60F to 70F
April, May, June 65F to 75F
July, August, September 75Fplus
October, November 60F to 70F
December, January 50F to 60F
Of course these temperatures are only a guide
but it beats cycling the English pre-season weather.

If your flight is at an inconvenient time then you may want to order a welcome pack . It consists of the basics to get you started in the morning, water, bread, jams, ham, cheese, tea, coffee, milk ect. You will need to ask for a welcome pack when you book.
There is a small supermarket 400 metres away and a large Mercadonna supermarket (Morrisons type) half a mile away.
Local to the apartments restaurants and bars are within 400metres. There is a Chinese restaurant called En Fu, which offers a wok buffet. It is fabulous cuisine and the prices are very low, menu of the day is just 5.50 euros. There is also an Indian
restaruant which is bit more expensive but it is still good value for money.
If require hire a car we recommend www.doyouspain.com which is Europa Goldcar hire but it’s a bit cheaper than booking direct with Europa.
We offer airport tansfers from Alicante & Murcia airports.
We have a 25 seat coach and can accommodate
riders and bikes for large or small size parties.
